Archipelago Philippine Seafarers’ Training Institute, Inc. (APSTII) is the training arm of Archipelago Philippine Ferries Corporation (APFC). It provides its newly hired crew with advanced training onboard a FastCat vessel to familiarize them with modernized and high-tech machinery and equipment and we ensure that the set of training that we provide is in compliance with Maritime Industry Authority (MARINA) as mandated by the International Maritime Organization (IMO).

What we do offer

CADETSHIP

Cadetship Program readies aspiring seafarers with hands-on training in seamanship, navigation, safety, and maritime regulations for successful careers in the industry.

COMPLETION

Provides thorough maritime training for aspiring seafarers, ensuring they're well-prepared for careers at sea.

CRUISE SHIP MANAGEMENT (STEWARD)

Provides a focused HRM program for Cruise Ship Management, preparing students for effective personnel and operations management aboard cruise ships.

SEATRIP

The APSTI seatrip/OJT program offers comprehensive maritime training, combining theoretical classroom sessions with hands-on practical experience onboard vessels.

SHIP CULINARY COURSE (STEWARD)

Prepares students for culinary roles on ships through practical training in maritime food preparation and galley operations.

SHIP FAMILIARIZATION

Provides essential training on maritime operations, safety protocols, and ship handling. Participants gain hands-on experience through simulations and onboard sessions to prepare for a career at sea.
